FRUIT CAKES AT FLEURONS
Fresh fruits & compotes paired with whipped buttercream and our soft eggless cakes, create the exotic collection of fruit cakes at Fleurons.
As compared to chocolate cakes, which are denser and heavier in taste, fruit cakes are lighter, softer and usually come with sweet & tangy notes which are a delight in the Indian summer.
The varieties range from pineapples to mangoes and mixed fruits, from blueberry to strawberry and more.

FRESH FRUIT CAKES
Fresh fruits are raw fruits which we chop and present your cake with. We use mangoes, pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate, kiwis & dragonfruit for the same. Fresh Fruits generally contain less sugar than compotes, but the freshness remains for a few hours only. To preserve the freshness of these, we convert them into compotes.

FRUIT CAKES
Across the world, fruit cakes are topped with either fresh fruits or compotes. To preserve freshness of fruits, we cook them into a compote. Compote comes from the Latin word ‘Compositus’ meaning mixture. In Earlier times, it was served chilled with yoghurt or cream. Now, it’s widely accompanied with cakes too. While Jam is made of crushed fruits, compotes are made with chunks of fruits, which are preserved while cooking them. The most common compote used is Pineapples & Blueberries which in general taste tangy/unsweetened, and are brought to the perfect sweetness using sugar, water and Fresh fruits. These are perfectly paired with cheesecakes too.

FRUITS & CHOCOLATE CAKE
One of the best seller cakes at Fleurons is our Chocolate Strawberry Cake. The tanginess of the strawberries is perfectly balanced with the denser mildly sweet chocolate cake. In winters, we pair our chocolate with fresh strawberries and Nutella, which is a heavenly combination while in summers, the pairing of fresh mangoes along with Biscoff on a chocolate truffle cake is to look out for! It’s light, it’s tasty and you’ll be left wanting for more.

Fleurons is widely known for creating cakes which are made from our OG (Original) recipes, in small batches without using any stabilisers/emulsifiers or preservatives/premixes. All our cakes are made from simple ingredients and we take great pride in this fact. Simple ingredients, which you can read the label of. The buttercream used in our cakes is based on just 3 components, while the cake is made with 7 ingredients only.
